The house is on St Margarets Road, just over half way down the hill. This means that it's a mere moment or two's walk away from the bay. The sea front in St Margarets Bay is a predominantly pebble beach with one or two areas of sand. It's a superb location to watch the shipping in the English Channel and to view France on clear days.

The Foreland Valley Conservation area is in front of the house while it is bounded on the other side by National Trust land. The village is situated midway between the towns of Dover and Deal. Canterbury city centre with its excellent shopping facilities, further schooling, entertainments and other amenities is within easy reach to the west and the historic town and cinque port of Sandwich is easily accessible to the north.

Village shops, the local school and other amenities are all within walking distance of the property and there is a main line railway station in the neighbouring village of Martin Mill which provides regular services to London and the Kent Coast.

Channel Ferries services are available from Dover, Folkestone and the Folkestone terminal of the Channel Tunnel and Ashford International Station is within 45 minutes travelling distance and provides regular Eurostar services to Paris, Lille and Brussels with connecting services beyond.

The house has a large lounge with double doors out to a sun terrace, a dining room with large windows looking out over the gardens, a kitchen, cloakroom, 3 good bedrooms, large gardens and a driveway with parking for at least 4 cars. In our opinion this is a terrific house in an excellent location and would suit both families and those looking for a weekend retreat from the City.
